Electric Reliability Council of Texas

Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) is the first ISO (Independent System Operator) in the USA.  It manages the electric grid on the Texas Interconnection that supplies power to more than 25 million customers in Texas. Thus, it represents 90  percent of the state’s electric load.

As per the region’s ISO, the company’s electric grid connects more than 46,000 miles of transmission lines.  Not only that, but it also connects more than 550 generation units. Besides, being one of the nine ISOs in North America, ERCOT has been dedicated towards the improvement of the bulk power grid by working with the Texas Reliability Entity.

COLOR THEME

The color black is associated with power, fear, mystery, strength, authority, elegance, formality.

Green is the color of life, renewal, nature, and energy, is associated with meaning of growth, harmony, freshness.
